Sophie founded Newboulds in 2016. She brings more than 20 years of legal and commercial experience across business, government, major procurement, complex commercial relationships and disputes.
She has held senior in-house and consulting roles with Stagecoach Group, the Cabinet Office and Home Office, the Foreign & Commonwealth Office, the Bank of England, the Gambling Commission, the Met Office and Essex County Council — working on programmes ranging from £200m border technology to a £1.2bn supercomputer procurement.
Alongside that, she has advised owner-managed businesses on share and asset sales, restructurings, shareholder matters, contracts and disputes — working directly with founders, directors and decision-makers.
